Asset classes are how we separate different financial instruments and concepts. Since there are only a few of them, we have included them on the same page as other economic topics.
The four main asset classes are:
- equity / stock
- debt / bonds
- commodities
- currencies
Each of these is further broken down into subtopics, like private and public stock, government or corporate bonds, various commodities, and fiat and cryptocurrencies. There are even deeper breakdowns, like preferred public stock and common public stock.
When you click on one of the asset classes, you will see a page with a list of articles and tweets that are marked as related to that class in our system. At the bottom, you can find more specific topics, both broad subclasses and individual topics.
